Lantern Festival is Happening Today!

The 11th Annual Lantern Festival is going ahead today, July 30th, in Victoria Park from 2 to around 10:30. Bring your friends and family! Free all day event.

Where is victoria park? Even google doesn’t know! Isn’t that something that should be on this website? Why not have a calendar of events and times instead of posting about something that has happened after the fact? This “LANTERN FESTIVAL IS HAPPENING TODAY!” wasn’t here yesterday. In the future, you should try to spread the information a bit more freely instead of forcing us to have to ask.

Thank you for your comments about the website and we will work to improve it for next year. This website was only launched a few days before the festival as we are a volunteer group with a lot of other commitments.

Just wanted to let you know that the festival was a blast. Well organized and the volunteers were super. My wife and I with our grandchildren, and their parents attended most of the day and all of the dusk events.Only suggestion would be to have more childrens music.The music was perfect, just looking for more I guess.Best event of the year….Thanks very much
